I read the reviews then bought the filter yesterday. I make sure the
lid is pushed down tight as suggested by someone else, and the filter
works like a dream! Yes, there is sediment at the bottom of your coffee
cup. That is due to the very shear gold filter. Anyone who has used
gold filters before is familiar. It is not noticeable when drinking the
coffee. It is nothing like coffee grounds in your mouth, and if
you're like me and like a strong cup of coffee, the sediment makes for a
good cup.

I highly recommend this filter if you are tired of the insane prices of
the Keurig coffee, and have been using paper filters with the recyclable
plastic cups as instructed on youtube.com. Making them yourself is
very messy and you end up with coffee grounds everywhere. This filter
is not messy and NO COFFEE GROUNDS get out!..it is sediment.

However, the price on amazon is INSANE! I got mine at BB & B for
$19.99, and used their 20% off coupons. I paid $15.99. Amazon prices
had hiked up considerably the last 6 months and I am finding better
prices elsewhere on a lot of products.

If you love your coffee like I do and have been waiting for a Vue
filter, go for this one. Keurig was supposed to come out with a filter
early 2013, and now have put it off to late 2013! ..it's not rocket
science Keurig!!

I got this at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for only $20. First let me say that
this filter DOES NOT leave grounds as others have stated, it DOES leave a
slight sediment similar to if you had used a french press or other
metal filters. The sediment will only stay at the bottom. I don't mind
the sediment personally, but if you don't like it just avoid the last
sip or use a paper liner to keep it out. I find the taste of the coffee
to be really good and it actually reminds me of french press coffee. I
usually will grind the coffee at a setting in between a cone filter and
espresso but feel free to play around with it. I have also made tea in
it, which comes out great and I have made hot chocolate by taking out
the filter and this also comes out really good. I'm really glad I bought
this product and it saves me money versus buying the vue cups which can
end up costing you between $40-$50 dollars per pound!!!! The clean up
is relatively simple too. My only complaint is that Solofill made this
in the "TO GO size Vcup" and didn't make a "Normal sized V-cup" option.
For those who may not know the Vue has 2 sized Vcup pods-- this one
being the larger of the two.
